A day for Nigeria, and a day for you. We're celebrating the country's independence and giving you a real push toward your own, whatever you're building.
Everything on October 1 sits between these two ideas.
We're discussing the real story, not the textbook version, and taking on the myths people outside Nigeria still believe about us. It's a day to be loudly, specifically proud of where we're from.
Making your own money. Making your own decisions. Starting something and actually scaling or finishing it. For a lot of us, that's the harder independence to win, so we built a day around helping each other move on it, with people who've actually walked some of this road, not strangers reciting theory. That's what makes it different.
The day winds down into a relaxed community hangout, the same 
Google Meet and 
YouTube setup, with a different energy. This is virtual too — from wherever you already are.
A smaller, slower conversation for people actively building something. Not a pitch stage. A panel that actually asks how it's going, what's working, and what's stuck, and makes real contributions toward getting unstuck.

at the same time. Meet is capped at 90 seats for the people who want to talk, react, and ask questions directly, and who gets one of those seats is decided by the team through a simple selection process, not first-come-first-served. Everyone else joins free on YouTube with no limit.
Come for the culture, the games, and the giveaways. If you're also building something, the form will ask, no pressure either way.
Money, products, your time on a team, or a slot to speak: contributions come from individuals and small businesses first. Big brands are welcome, but that's not who we're asking.
Samuel Adekunle is an Accounting graduate (BSc), Executive Assistant, and Operations Coordinator who plans events, writes the proposals that secure sponsorships with big brands, and builds out content and structure, professionally, for other people. Independence is that same work, turned toward something of his own: the planning, the structure, and the follow-through he brings to other people's biggest days, now poured into one built for his own community.
